Resistance to Applied Knowledge
Observation: A solution to a recurring problem was built using publicly available vendor documentation and validated knowledge base articles. The approach was documented, reproducible, and later confirmed as supported by the vendor itself. When shared with peers, the solution was dismissed before being evaluated. The objection was not technical. It was positional: the assumption that the approach could not be supported, made without verification. The criticism preceded the assessment. Pattern: Validated solutions face resistance when they challenge the mental model of what is expected or accepted within a team. The resistance is not proportional to the technical risk.
